Lion’s Den is a private festival held on a working farm in rural Australia. It is completely run by an intimate group of friends, all contributing to create something bigger than the sum of it’s parts. We were engaged to give the small gathering the big consideration it deserved.
The festival’s visual identity is built around a whimsical, miniature diorama. This handmade motif draws inspiration from the festival’s humble beginnings and is a subtle nod to the gathering's main stage, The Hay Amphitheatre.
We also created night versions of the key art, website and print assets to depict the way a festival can change as it descends into darkness. We furthered this by printing night versions of the set time posters and swapping them out as night fell.
